Management Structure
The governance of the Integrated Social Services Program (ISSP) is based on a democratic, transparent, and accountable structure that ensures effective decision-making, representation, oversight and management/execution.
The governance structure of the organization is consisting of three main tiers:
- The General Body – the supreme authority of the organization.
- The Board of Directors (BoD) – the governing and oversight authority accountable to the General body.
- The Executive Management – the administrative and operational authority of the organization accountable to the Board of Directors.
The Executive Management structure is further divided into three tiers, aligned with the organization’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). At the apex is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), who oversees all organizational operations and ensures coordination with the Board of Directors, government counterparts, donors, and other key stakeholders. The management framework of the Integrated Social Services Program (ISSP) consists of three primary units and one sub unit:
- Programme Development & Management Unit: Lead by the Manager Programme & Development and supported by the Programme Officer(s), Coordination & Liaison Officer, Communication Officer/Associate(s), Gender & Safeguarding personnel and a dedicated Project Management Unit (PMU), led by the Manager Field Operations and Coordination. They are responsible for the programme development & management including resource mobilization, Coordination, Project management, and overseeing the execution of programme/projects.
- Programme Support Unit: Includes the Financial Management Unit, Human Resource Management Unit, Logistics & Procurement Unit, Admin & Operations Unit, and Management Information System (MIS) Unit.
- MEAL Unit: Lead by the Senior MEAL Officer and supported by the MEAL Officer(s)/Associates, and are responsible for the overall Monitoring Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) of the ISSP programme/projects.
These units operate under the overall supervision of the CEO. They adhere strictly to organizational SOPs and work collaboratively to strengthen the organization’s Internal Control Management System, ensuring that accountability is maintained at all levels. The reporting structure is clearly defined and illustrated in the organizational hierarchy diagram, below.
Integrated Social Services Program, with its diverse pool of multidisciplinary professionals and an integrated approach, excels in crafting multi-sectoral projects for social, institutional, and community development. The core team of ISSP comprises exceptionally talented, qualified, and highly motivated individuals, each bringing substantial experience in the humanitarian sector and specialized expertise in their respective management areas. It’s noteworthy that prior to their tenure at ISSP, these individuals have served in various organizations, including the United Nations (UN), International Organizations, and National Organizations, operating across a wide range of socio-cultural contexts and interventions.
