Integrated Social Services Program (ISSP), officially registered in January 2012, was founded by a dedicated group of professionals from diverse sectors and fields of expertise. The organization began its community welfare initiatives in 2013, initially focusing on free medical camps for internally displaced persons.
Over the years, ISSP has grown into a trusted implementing partner for national and international organizations. In 2020, ISSP signed a long-term Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Muslim Charity – UK (2021 – 2026). This MOU entrusted ISSP with the implementation of projects funded by Muslim Charity – UK in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) province, and successfully executed 23 projects in Districts Peshawar, Charsadda, Nowshera, and Mardan since 2021, with ongoing implementation of 2 projects. These interventions span a wide range of thematic areas, including WASH, Food Security & Livelihood, Reconstruction and Rehabilitation of Community Infrastructure, Education, Shelter Construction, Food Assistance, Health Service Restoration, Energy Transformation, and Child Protection.
Building on this experience, ISSP has also partnered with HOPE’87 as the In-Country Partner (ICP) for the Beyond Survival – Transforming the Power of Communities (BeST) project (2024–2029), focusing on WASH, Protection, and Livelihood sectors.
In addition, ISSP has been selected by UNHCR as an implementing partner under the Sustainable Housing and Settlement Programme for Afghan Refugees and Host Communities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (June–December 2025). This project aims to support Afghan refugees and host communities through WASH interventions, housing solutions, rehabilitation of community infrastructure, solid waste management in Refugee Villages, education support, climate change adaptation/mitigation, and mass awareness campaigns.
ISSP is also collaborating with ACTED International to strengthen the education system in Tribal District Mohmand by conducting teacher trainings, facilitating extracurricular activities for students, and promoting awareness and exposure campaigns.
Furthermore, ISSP has partnered with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) to implement emergency response projects, particularly in response to the 2022 floods in District Charsadda.
Through these partnerships and initiatives, ISSP continues to expand its impact, promoting social and economic development, resilience, and dignity for vulnerable populations across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
